Hannah and Michael had a wonderful winter wedding at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Flint, Deeside, NorthWales. It is a long time since I’ve worked in Flint and the funny thing is I was also due there the following day! They had a really beautiful service and then went over the border into the border town of Chester to the magnificent Queen Hotel smack in the middle of the   city. The Queen is a really stunning venue for wedding photography and I thought Hannah dress really suited the Roman theme.

We also took quite a few images in the evening in what was an unseasonally warm evening. Enjoy the photos.

Sandra and Stephen where married at Gresford Church in North Wales back in December 2011 with the reception held at the magnificent Grosvenor Pulford hotel just over the border in Cheshire. The interior of the Church provided some wonderful photographic opportunities which the wonderful Vicar allowed me to photograph during the ceremony. A lot of ministers will not allow any photography during the service or at best some shots from the back of the church so it was rather refreshing to be given freedom to work. The Grosvenor Pulford is a tremendous venue at any time of the year but during the dark days of winter it allows me to capture a lot of beautiful images indoors. The pictures below are the proof album pages – Sandra and Stephen can make any amendments before the album goes to print in Italy. I’m very pleased with the album, I think it captures their beautiful day

For me Storybook albums have totally taken over, last year out of the near 50 weddings I shot I can’t remember any who purchased a traditional album. I can understand why – Storybook albums look stunning. I’ve uploaded a selection a the ‘proof’ pages from Jennie and Paul’s fairytale wedding at the stunning Peckforton Castle in the Cheshire hills near Tattenhall. All my clients get the opportunity to make amendments to the pages before printing and the proofs are their opportunity to  view the pages before they go to print. The is also a wonderful choice of covers to compliment the album pages. I can’t wait to deliver the finished item as a beautiful reminder of Jennie & Paul’s fabulous day.

Simon and Lisa had a beautiful winter wedding at the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa just on the English and Welsh border. It was a cold winter’s day but Lisa and Simon braved the weather and we managed to get photos in both the beautiful Garden and the new Oriental Garden, the later in the evening. It was a pleasure working with Simon and Lisa and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them.
