Winter has it’s own challenges for wedding photography with very short day and generally poor light levels – sometimes this is made worse by mother nature as in the case of Wes and Fiona, it rained all day… I think the key to having lovely photos in these conditions are dependent on two things. Firstly a wonderful location with indoor opportunities for photos and secondly a photographer who can work and manipulate the light in the often poor indoor conditions. Wes and Fiona chose the venue well – the magnificent Grosvenor Pulford Hotel is brilliant in all weathers  and I’ll leave you to judge on the photos….. Enjoy the photos.

Angela & Richard had an amazing day with a cameo appearance by a certain Mr Michael Owen in the photos. Manchester United and England international Michael was a total gentleman leaving his family to give the bride a quick photo opportunity.

The Grosvenor Pulford is one of the finest venues in Cheshire and has wonderful opportunities for photographs even in the darker months of the year.  Angela and Richard wanted some low light images and we planned a bit of time away in the evening before the first dance to explore the hotel. I really enjoy spending some time in the evening with the bride and groom and for a small investment in time I think they have a wonderful collection of extra photos. Enjoy.

Suzanne and Peter had a beautiful wedding at the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa in Cheshire. They had an incredibly mild day for the time of year and were even out in the evening having photos in the stunning new Asian Garden at the Grosvenor. Enjoy the photos.

I had the privilege of photographing the wonderful wedding of Eleanor & James at the stunning Grosvenor Pulford. I had a wonderful day photographing the happy couple and in my humble opinion they look wonderful and happy and I can’t wait to produce a stunning album for them. Enjoy the photos.

I had the pleasure of shooting Mark and Lucy’s wedding at my favourite venue the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel on the Cheshire and North Wales border. We had a beautiful day more reminiscent of June than early April and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying the beautiful gardens in bright sunlight.Mark arrived in an orchestra of noise in a stunning white Lamborghini and Lucy arrived in a stunning red wedding dress.

I had the pleasure of photographing Ceri and Graham at their beautiful wedding at St Werburg’s Catholic Church in Chester followed by an amazing reception at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa on the Cheshire North Wales border. The pictures posted are some of the ‘proof’ pages for their Graphi storybook album. I really love the Graphi albums and think they have a real wow factor.

Helen and Stephen were brilliant to work with and had a wonderful wedding and reception at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel in Cheshire. Helen was such fun and a really beautiful bride. The Grosvenor Pulford has a really stunning interior and is one of the finest venues in Cheshire which gives a beautiful background to the photography.

What a wonderful day and a brilliant couple to work with. This week I have also added a few of the fun shots that i always try to take at a wedding. I think in years to come these will add a lot of laughter to the memories of the big day.
