Kayley & Steven had a wonderful wedding in early January at the beautiful Grosvenor Pulford Hotel. For January we had quite a lovely day for the photos but no one was keen on staying outside too long – it was still January. One of the things I love about the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel is the variety of locations within the hotel for photos so no matter what the weather decides to do you are guaranteed beautiful photos.

This was my last wedding of a phenomenally busy 2011 and what a wonderful day to finish off the year. Alexander & Louise where married at Louise’s family church, the beautiful St Deiniol’s Church in Hawarden Deeside with a wonderful reception at the five star Grosvenor Hotel in Chester.

Sandra and Stephen had a wonderful wedding at the tail end of 2011 at the beautiful Christ Church in Rossett, North Wales. The service was at my favourite hotel the gorgeous Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa just over the border in Cheshire, England. I had a great time taking the photos and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them.

Winter has it’s own challenges for wedding photography with very short day and generally poor light levels – sometimes this is made worse by mother nature as in the case of Wes and Fiona, it rained all day… I think the key to having lovely photos in these conditions are dependent on two things. Firstly a wonderful location with indoor opportunities for photos and secondly a photographer who can work and manipulate the light in the often poor indoor conditions. Wes and Fiona chose the venue well – the magnificent Grosvenor Pulford Hotel is brilliant in all weathers  and I’ll leave you to judge on the photos….. Enjoy the photos.

Angela & Richard had an amazing day with a cameo appearance by a certain Mr Michael Owen in the photos. Manchester United and England international Michael was a total gentleman leaving his family to give the bride a quick photo opportunity.

The Grosvenor Pulford is one of the finest venues in Cheshire and has wonderful opportunities for photographs even in the darker months of the year.  Angela and Richard wanted some low light images and we planned a bit of time away in the evening before the first dance to explore the hotel. I really enjoy spending some time in the evening with the bride and groom and for a small investment in time I think they have a wonderful collection of extra photos. Enjoy.

Wow what a wonderful day. I had the pleasure of photographing the stunning wedding of Aron and Caitlyn at the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa. Being November a lot of the photos are taken indoors and in low light but we also managed to get some stunning images from the new Spa Garden. The weather does not matter at the Grosvenor Pulford – the are still lots of locations for wonderful indoor photos. Enjoy.

What a pleasure it was to record the wonderful wedding of Katy and Alistair at Holytrinity Church in the delightful Village of Capenhurst. Katy is the fith generation of her family to tie the knot in this beautiful and charming Church. After the wonderful service Katy and Alistair went back to the beautiful Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa. By the time we returned to the hotel the winter darkness had also drawn in but as always this did not stop us getting some wonderful images. Enjoy the photos.

I had the pleasure of photographing Bob and Carolyn’s beautiful wedding at one of my local church’s in Aldford, Cheshire followed by a lovely reception just over the Welsh border at the stunning Llyndir Hall Hotel in Rossett. Being November the light was rather low and has produced some lovely low light images – well until the heavens opened! Enjoy the photos

Adam & Sarah had a wonderful wedding at the beautiful St Lawrence Church in Stoak near Chester followed by a beautiful reception at the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel. Adam is the butterfly keeper at Cheshire Zoo and Sarah the Rhino keeper!! A bit of animal magic The photos also include some from the amazing new Spa Gardens at the Grosvenor Pulford. I think the Grosvenor Pulford is probably the finest wedding venue in the North West and to add another amazing garden is just unbelievable. Enjoy the photos.
