It looks like the weather has finally turned to spring and I had the pleasure of photographing Nicky & Adam Owen’s wedding at the stunning Peckforton Castle last week on a glorious spring day. If you are a fan of football and in particular Scottish football you may spot a couple of legends in the guest photos as well.

I had the pleasure of photographing Nicky as a chief bridesmaid a few years ago and it was lovely to work with her again – and Ruth who was the stunning bride last time was wonderful bridesmaid this time.

Georgina is due to get married at the end of May at the Grosvenor Pulford and decided to have her pre bridal shoot in the bridal suite of the hotel with her two of her sisters. The pre wedding bridal photos are a wonderful gift for the groom and a great opportunity for the bride to have some fun with some of the girls before the day. I also think it is a great way of relaxing people in front of the camera before the wedding day. Normally I add the more formal even glamorous photos on the web but today I’ve decided to add some of the fun even silly photos taken on the wedding day. I often think when the couple look back at the album in 10 years time these photos will make them smile and really bring back the memories of the day. Enjoy the photos.

With Valentine’s day approaching  I’ve decided to add some boudoir photography. An album of images is a wonderful gift to be treasured and totally unique. I had the privilege of photographing  Claire wedding early this year at the delightful Peckforton Castle in Cheshire and uploaded the Graphi album a few weeks ago to the blog. Claire came in with one of her brides maids and a close friend for a makeover with a difference – she did her own makeup and her friends. I was really impressed with some of the false eyelashes. A makeover makes a wonderful valentine present if you can’t think of anything and will last a life time.

It can be very difficult at Christmas to choose a present for the one you love – but photography can be a stunning and ever lasting solution. What I had in mind was makeover or boudoir photography which is an excellent gift from him to her or from her to him or for even more fun for both!!Go on do something different this year
