Dafydd and Suzanne Parry had a glorious day at the Franciscan Friary in Holywell, North Wales with the reception at Brookhouse Mill near Ruthin, in Denbigh North Wales. What a wonderful couple! I say this to myself every time I do a wedding and Georgina and Stephen Reddy were no exception and it was a total pleasure to record their big day. They had a beautiful service at St Werburghs Catholic Church in the centre of Chester followed by the reception at my favourite venue – the Grosvenor Pulford on the Cheshire and North Wales border.

Kirstine & Kevin had a lovely service this Sunday at the lovely St Mary’s Church in Broughton, Deeside followed by a very lively reception at the Grosvenor Pulford in Cheshire.

Kirstine and Kevin have two wonderful daughters who make gorgeous flower girls and the service was very moving as the Church has many family memories for Kirstine.

On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Tim and Jo’s wedding at the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel. We had a lovely sunny day if a little cold so a lot of the photos where taken indoors. I really like indoor photography it just adds a different dimension to my photography and compliments the outdoor shots. I always like to take the photographs in a variety of locations as keeps people relaxed and when the album is designed makes sure each page is very different and holds peoples attention. Last October I had the pleasure of photographing Natasha & Mat’s beautiful wedding at St Mary’s Church in Pulford on the North Wales and Cheshire border. Here is a selection of the proof pages for the album. Natasha and Mat have chosen around 250 images for the album and I really love (nearly) finished album. It is a Graphi album with a metallic front and pages and will look amazing. Natasha and Mat’s reception was at one of Cheshire’s top wedding venue, The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel. As always at the Grosvenor Pulford the staff looked after Mat & Natasha flawlessly.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ffion & Steven on a glorious day for their engagement photos. We took a variety of images both indoor and out. Ffion and Steven have booked me to shoot their wedding in the summer and they enjoyed the portrait session so much they are now really looking forward to the wedding day photography This is the main idea of the pre wedding portrait sessions I offer with every wedding package it relaxes the couple when they realise photography can be great fun and it is one less thing to worry about on their wedding day.

Andrew & Lynette where an amazing couple to work with and we had a fine if very windy day at the magnificent St Werburgh Catholic Church bang in the middle of Chester with a lovely reception at the Grosvenor Pulford which always know exactly how to run a wedding. Andy & Lynette had 170 guests in the evening with many who had travelled including a large Irish contingent who certainly could how to party! This was a gorgeous wedding on a gorgeous day last autumn with the wedding taking place at Holt Church just in North Wales and the reception at the Grosvenor Pulford just over in Cheshire and Steven had came all the way from my home town of Aberdeen with his clan – so definitely a British wedding! I have had the pleasure of having Frances as a chief bridesmaid at two previous wedding and it was lovely for her to be the star at this one.

The pictures are the ‘proofs’ received before the album goes to print allowing the couple to make changes if desired giving the couple complete control of the finished item.

Georgina is due to get married at the end of May at the Grosvenor Pulford and decided to have her pre bridal shoot in the bridal suite of the hotel with her two of her sisters. The pre wedding bridal photos are a wonderful gift for the groom and a great opportunity for the bride to have some fun with some of the girls before the day. I also think it is a great way of relaxing people in front of the camera before the wedding day. We also do makeover and boudoir photography if you fancy a fun day out with images which will last a life time. The make-up was by the Pauline Griffiths. Please feel free to add comments

Nicky & Adam are due to get married in May at the stunning Peckforton Castle near Tarporley in the Cheshire Hills.
