I had a fantastic day photographing a beautiful wedding in the centre of leafy Cheshire at what for me was a new venue the lovely Wincham Hall near Northwich. Wincham Hall is a hidden gem and appears to be in the middle of nowhere and without a house to be seen from it fine lawns yet is slap bang in the centre of Cheshire. And I had a Gem of a wedding there photographing an amazing couple who were so much fun to work with, Gemma and Andrew wedding was a blast to photograph.

I will start this fantastic wedding at the end with one from the first dance as Gemma and Andrew are totally oblivious to all around as they only have eyes for each other. I love the lighting on this photograph, it just illuminates enough of the most beautiful of brides as she is totally at peace with the man of her dreams.

Meanwhile a few hours earlier on the biggest day of her life the bridesmaids do a wonderful job of making sure all the wedding to do lists are ticked and our star of the day arrives maybe not on time but not too late! The is really beautiful window light coming into the room.

A little help from your friends doesn’t go a miss on a wedding day.

It is the last weekend in May and the flowers are out at the Hall and all the other beautiful details that help make a fantastic day. Wedding Shores, Garter, Wedding Flowers a touch of love and the all important never-ending cicle of love represented by a beautiful and incredibly detailed pair of rings.

This is it. That moment in time which is fleeting but remembered for eternity as the Groom, Andrew set sight on his most beautiful Bride, Gemma for the first time.

Wow what beautiful blue eyes does Gemma have, an English Rose in a Cheshire Garden.

I love this photograph of a couple so in love on their wedding day.

Gemma looks stunning, her dress is amazing and her flowers just unique. She is an extremely creative woman and it shows in every single detail of her meticulously planned wedding.

One for the wall perhaps?

Wincham Hall has a really beautiful Garden and some amazing mature trees. A perfect backdrop you could say for a perfect Cheshire Wedding.

An ultra-wide fish-eye perspective of the Gemma and Andrew with a bird box for company!

Gemma’s dress has the most beautiful trail and delicate lace.

A model bride, she is beautiful and such an amazing person to work with.

The sun sets over a beautiful day and it time to take the night photos, I love working in the dark and I sometimes don’t think people realise how much work goes into these type of shots. The are no fewer than four additional lights in the picture lighting up the hotel and the couple. I think it is worth it.

A different angle and a totaly different feel to the photograph. Big dramatic sky. A wonderful wedding.

It not raining but an umberella can be an amazing prop as it bounces a pool of light down on the couple.

This one image is one of my faourites, it shows the Hall off in the background and the fairy-tail lights down the drive and an amazing couple on their wedding day.

Beautiful.

And now back to the first dance.

The rings and the fleeting glance of a lady in love.
