We I am sat here in a very wet windy and miserable January day and have the pleasure of blogging bright, vibrant and stylish wedding from back in June or the two Js. Jonny and Jo. It was a small and intimate wedding and the service took place in the registry office in the Roman town of Chester, the capital of Cheshire. And then it was back to the Grosvenor Pulford for the reception.
I will start with a big blue sky to warm up a cold grey day. Jo and Jonny looking amazing against a massive sky in the Oriental Garden of the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa.
All the little details that make up a wonderful wedding day. Hell Bunny is a good one! A beautiful pair of shoes made for walking down the aisle, a gorgeous pendant in a stunning blue, Love and Happiness Locket and the most important jewelry in anyone’s life, the wedding rings. Gold seems to have gone out of fashion everyone seems to be choosing platinum or Titanium.
I think the skirt is going to be a bit shorter than the norm! But the is nothing normal or conventional about today’s bide and groom. A little bit of story telling with the pictures as the bride prepares for the biggest day of her life.
Pensive? Maybe but Jo seemed incredible calm and fun loving all of her wedding day.
Well all the planning and organizing, shopping and thinking comes to an end, this is it time to go and make that walk down the aisle on your wedding day.
And a few doors away a rather dapper Groom is getting ready with a bit of help from Paul Smith.
In the registery office now in the ancient city of Chester just a few miles away from the Grosvenor Pulford.
The wedding rings seal the promise.
Back at the Grosvenor and under a big big sky.
The waterfall in the garden of the Grosvenor Pulford is a beautiful spot and when a beautiful sky like this goes over the top it is a perfect background. And how chic are Jo and Jonny.
I love this one in colour sepia. Jo dress is stunning.
A red letter day? Or maybe a red petticoat day! It looks rather amazing.
One of my favorites of the day, it is breaking a lot of the rules of photography but for me anyway it works beautifully.
A model bride looking fabulous on her big day. What a wonderful Cheshire Wedding.
A slight different angle and what a difference it makes to the photograph, Both are lovely and I have no idea which one I prefer. Jo smile on this one is electric.
The bridge and waterfall in one shot. How fantstic are teh gardens of the Grosvenor Pulford?
I am not really sure what is going on in this series of shots but Jo and Jonny look like they ahve it all under control.
Buddha watches over them.
A beautiful reflection and a stunning garden containing as stylish and handsome a couple as you’ll see.
I love this one. It is also worth noting the change in the sky. It was raining in the morning and was just about to start again, time to sneak indoors I think.
The mirror at the Grosvenor Pulford, what a beautiful spot. What a beautiful Bride.
Lights, mirrors, reflections. And a couple in love on their wedding day.
A most stunning bride .
Black and white for a bit of a difference. It looks a bit like a still from an old movie!!
And lets end the blog with a loving kiss. In black and white.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, it was a fantastic day back in June and I had an amazing time with Jo and Jonny and it was a privilage to be employed by them to record their big day. Thank you.
See you all soon.
