It must be nearly ten years since I last photographed a wedding at the beautifully maintained All Saint’s Church in Hoole, Chester, Cheshire. Hoole is a vibrant and busy area just on the edge of Chester city centre and the church is a very busy venue and centre of the community. The service was conducted beautifully by the minister but alas I was sent to the back of the hall and all the photos where taken with a long lens and far away! The Vicar was kind enough to let us return into the church after the service to take some photos which was invaluable as it is a really lovely and spacious church inside.
After the beautiful service it was back to my number one location the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa just a few miles outside Chester. The day was a bit cool but dry and we managed to have some wonderful time outside taking photos in both of the amazing Grosvenor Pulford gardens before moving indoors to the more or less compulsory mirror and indoor shots.
I had a great time photographing the wedding and the guests made me feel one of the family. It is such an honour to record someone’s big day and gives me immense satisfaction. Enjoy the photos and please feel free to add any comments.
