Carl and Emma had a wonderful wedding at a new venue for me the stunning Inglewood Manor on the Wirral, it is an ideally placed wedding venue nestled between Liverpool, Cheshire and North Wales.
It was a bitterly cold and wet day so most of the photography was indoors, with Inglewood this isn’t a problem as the venue is a stunning old Manor House with a beautiful interior.
This is the back of Emma’s beautiful wedding dress.
The beautiful bride Emma looking very relaxed on her wedding morning, I think black and white looks very good.
Carl also looking very relaxed before the wedding in the garden of Inglewood Manor.
I really love this wedding car, beautiful and really does look good driving up to Inglewood Manor.
I lovely tender moment when Emma and Carl first catch sight of each other on their wedding day. Inglewood has a lovely ambiance.
I think Emma is in good hands!
The room where the wedding service is held at Inglewood Manor is really intimate at.
A whacky fisheye view of Emma at the front of Inglewood Manor. What a stunning bride.
A beautiful bride and groom, stunning cars and a gorgeous venue.
We didn’t get much chance for out side wedding photography as the day was so wet, but managed a few with the cars and parents.
This is the room where the service was held, it is a lovely wedding backdrop to the beautiful Emma
Emma’s wedding dress is an amazing shade of ice blue. Really different and classical at the same time.
Emma and Carl in the stunning bay window.
I have finished this wedding photograph of Carl and Emma in colour sepia, I really love this finish.
This is a really fun photo taken just after the group shots, I really love every one milling about in the background.
The confetti. A fun and colourful part of the wedding day.
Carl entertaining the wedding guests.
The first dance at a wedding is the end of the official ceremonies and time for the wedding party to begin. I like the ultra wide aspect of this image showing all the wedding guests.
The Blues Brothers. This is a tribute band that needs no introduction.
The rear patio of Inglewood is really well protected from the elements and into the bargain looks wonderful for the wedding photography. Only the photographer had to get wet….
And a close up. The band and party carrying on through the windows adds a lot of colour to the image.
I really adore Emma’s wedding dress.
This is the front of Inglewood Manor with Carl and Emma nice and cosy inside. It was rather cold outside!
I think the architect probably had no idea when he designed such a magnificent house that the small nook windows would be ideal for wedding photographs!
And the last one on the evening for me, you can see the evening buffet being arranged in the mirror! If the bride and Groom wanted this can easily be removed but I think it is a nice added interest to the wedding photograph.
It was a really wonderful wedding day and it was a pleasure to be part of it. Carl and Emma were a perfect couple to work with. I can wait to deliver a stunning wedding album for them. They have chosen a spectacular Italian made Graphi Album with metallic pages. This is my own favourite, the metallic pages really do have a wow factor and add something a bit different to the wedding photography.
Inglewood was a really wonderful new venue for me and like buses I have another wedding there waiting to be blogged.
This is what Inglewood have to say about themselves:
Tucked away down an elegant drive winding between manicured lawns, ponds and pavilions lies one of Cheshire’s hidden treasures, Inglewood Manor. Nestling at the heart of 38 acres of grounds and gardens, this beautiful Edwardian country house retains all the charm and warmth of a lavish period home.
The 29 luxuriously refurbished bedrooms, most with glorious views of the grounds, provide a haven of tranquillity for guests seeking a great night’s sleep, and dining options range from elegant evenings in the beautiful restaurant, to sunny alfresco lunches on the Terrace, creating choices as varied as they are delicious.
With stunning oak panelled function suites and smart air-conditioned conference rooms the hotel can play host to the most romantic of weddings, yet equally provide a fantastic space for organisations to meet, work and play.
Conveniently located at the heart of the Northwest’s motorway network, with easy access to Manchester, Liverpool and historic Chester, yet surrounded by beautiful Cheshire countryside, the hotel provides the perfect base for doing business or simply relaxing.
