Hannah and Justin gave me the honour of photographing their amazing wedding at Farndon Church in Cheshire and then the reception at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa just a few miles away. Both of the Church and the Hotel have the honour of being the very last places of their type in England as they are perched right on the Welsh Border. I thought I’d share just a couple from this amazing wedding before blogging more and both wedding images were taken in the Oriental Gardens of the Grosvenor Pulford. One photograph was taken in the day under a beautiful blue sky with a few fluffy clouds floating about and the other wedding photograph was taken as the sun set behind the Welsh Hills.
The first wedding photograph has an amazing sky and the fantastic Oriental Gardens as a back drop. But how dramatic does it look? Hannah and Justin look like they should be on a film set. It is also rather windy, Hannah has been positioned so that the wind blows the veil off of her face! It was also rather cold but not once did I hear any complaints from a couple who couldn’t do enough to make sure they had wedding photographs to treasure.
The Second image is using the waterfall in the Oriental Gardens of the Grosvenor Pulford as a leading line, the sun setting just to the left. This photograph needed quite a bit of photographic input to balance all of the elements, it actually really dark in the garden and I have four additional lights. Two lighting the amazing Hannah and James and two lighting the garden and waterfall. I think it has came out rather well!
I will share more from this amazing wedding very soon.
Thank you for taking the time to read the blog.
