I recently blogged the magical wedding of Richard and Susan at St Werburg’s Church in the centre of Chester and then their reception at the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa. After such a magical day the wedding album is the main memory of all the fun, excitement, fear and anxieties of a rather special day. Susan and Richard chose a stunning Graphi Storybook Album to record their big day and below are the wedding album pages.
This is the cover image for the wonderful Graphi Album. The cover is actually in metal and looks fantastic.
Each page of the album is a chapter of the magical wedding day. Starting with the girls in the morning, and all the little details that make up the whole of the wedding. Brilliant wedding day pyjamas!!!
At St Werburg’s with the men, often the men are more nervous than the girls, possible because they have a lot more thinking time and a lot less to do!
Susan arrives at the mighty impressive St Werburg’s Church in Chester after making her grand entrance in-front of her Bridesmaid and Parents.
The long walk up the aisle. And the business end of the wedding. The Father at St Werburg’s is a brilliant character and soon had the audience in the palm of his hand.
The interior of St Werburg’s must be one of the most stunning Church interiors in Chester and Cheshire for that matter.
The signing of the registrar, the black and white adds atmosphere. And the Church is also an ideal place for the group shot.
What a beautiful couple. Back inside the massive interior of St Werburgh’s Church, Chester.
A wedding wouldn’t be a wedding without a few group shots! And what better place to do them in than in the Church.
A walk through Grosvenor Park. What a beautiful sunny day, and Chester has a beautiful park to exploit it in.
Down to Queens Bridge by the River Dee after passing through the Roman Arches.
It quite unusual for a bride and groom to walk through the park and down to the river.
Food and Speeches back at the Grosvenor Pulford. I love this photo as it shows all the wedding guests behind them. It taken with an ultra wide lens, the only way to fit the whole room in. It does add the characteristic fish-eye distortion.
Speeches. A nervous time, a fun time, an exciting time. And ofter a wedding highlight.
Into the garden to catch the amazing sunset with an dramatic cloudscape and a beautiful bride. The Grosvenor Pulford has amazing gardens.
A double page spread, and a perfect photo for showing off an amazing couple and a fantastic garden.
The Entourage.Those nearest and dearest.
A couple in love in a setting designed for romance.
Interior shots by the mirror of the Grosvenor Pulford in colour sepia. I think it was also a good opportunity for the couple to warm up. Those March evenings still have a chill in the air!
The First Dance and the end of the day for me. It was a beautiful day and a pleasure to be photograph.
