Well 2014 has been a phenomenal year for me, one of the busiest in nearly twenty years of shooting weddings and it was lovely to finish in the ‘Mother Country’ in Scotland at the stunning Dryburgh Abbey and the adjacent Dryburgh Abbey Hotel.
I chose this one as maybe my favourite, it was a hard choice as the Abbey proved an amazing backdrop to the wedding photos. It was a very changeable and cold day with a maximum temperature according to the BBC of 4c. It rained really heavily and then the sun came out for periods.
In all this cold windy and very changeable weather Jane was never even mentioned the cold and the couple just looked amazing. Jane was so beautiful and elegant in her stunning dress and Pete own tartan was really striking.
The mixed weather, amazing couple and unbeatable backdrop proved a perfect recipe for some stunning wedding photography.
Enjoy the photography and please feel free to add comment.
