Back in April I had a marvellous wedding for a gorgeous young lady I had known for a few years from off all places Tattenhall Running Club, however she looked rather different on this occasion out of her Lycra!! James and Karen had chosen the rather funky Oddfellows Hotel in the centre of Chester or as Oddfellows own web site describes it ‘
Idiosyncratic, whimsical and charming – our cheerful design-led boutique hotel inhabits a gorgeous Georgian Townhouse right bang in the middle of beautiful Chester, on the loveliest street, only moments away from the river.’
And I wouldn’t argue with that description, it is a truly unique, charming and original venue slap bang in the city. And a rather fantastic spot to get hitched.
Blue! I will start the blog with this fantastic hall way and entrance to Oddfellows in Chester. As you can see Karen is a rather individual bride and looks so amazing in her stunning gold Wedding Dress. I love the décor!
A penny for James thoughts? The waiting game, the minutes drag and for the Groom stood at the front with all eyes facing him is must feel such a long long time.
But the Best Man is there to offer support, or maybe to tease! I wonder what is being said?
The beautiful Karen, resplendent. Her expression says it all. Love.
What a marvellous building. The Georgian Townhouse must have been a magnificent home before it modern use as shops and boutique Hotel. It a fantastic choice for a wedding.
A rather sophisticated couple.
A magnificent bride and a fabulous gold dress. The is nothing predictable about Karen’s attire. She is a model bride.
A little Sepia to add a little gold to go with Karen’s amazing sexy and glamorous dress.
The detail in the dress is amazing.
Stunning bride and such a pleasure to work with and know.
Black and White for a bit of romance!
Karen how perfect a smile and how radiant she is on her wedding day.
I had a fantastic time photographing Karen and James Wedding at Oddfellows, it was a new venue for me and I think it a rather special place. Karen and James were brilliant to work with and the families and friends a total pleasure.
I hope you have enjoyed reading the blog.
See you all again soon.
