It good to be back and it’s brilliant to be back shooting weddings again. I’ve a very busy 1st quarter, it is the busiest I’ve ever been this time of year and what a wonderful way to kick off the year was the amazing wedding of Taja & Ben. I’ll blog this stunning North Wales wedding later but thought I’d like to share one of the stunning Taja who braved the near sub zero temperatures for some stunning photographs.
After a stunning service with one of the finest Ministers I have had the pleasure to work with at Llanasa Church near Prestatyn in North Wales we went back to the stunning Grosvenor Pulford Hotel in Cheshire. This one wedding photograph was taking in the garden and the temperature was only 3c. Taja looks totally stunning in her beautiful wedding dress.
This wedding photograph is finished in what I call vintage sepia, it allows some colour to come through but is also nearly a sepia toned black and white image. The bridge in the Grosvenor Pulford’s garden is a beautiful location for photographed and weather permitting is a must do location for the wedding photos. It is also rather good for the group shots!
As you can see apart from the cold we had a wonderful day with a beautiful low winters sun. I always find it very ironic how warm and soft the light is from the winters sun yet how little heat it generates!
I’ll post more of the wonderful wedding photographs from Taja and Ben’s wedding later this week.
