Nicola and Dave had a really lovely wedding at Cheshire’s top venue the beautiful Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa. The lovely couple had a really damp day but nothing could dampen their enthusiasm and they seemed to have moved mountains to produce a really remarkable wedding. It is always a real pleasure to shoot weddings when you can really see the enthusiasm the couple are showing for the day, Nicola and Dave where such a couple.
The service was held in the Grosvenor Pulford and it is always really lovely being allowed to take photos of the couple as they exchange vows in-front of a room of friends and family. I must have photographed over 500 weddings by now and yet I still cannot help but smile as the wedding vows are exchanged.
As you can see from the wedding photographs Nicola chose a really different wedding dress and a colour I do not think I’ve ever seen before. Purple. I really loved the bold approach to the wedding which was followed on with the whole day. Deep Purple room décor and another new one for me a West Indian Buffet which I was lucky enough to taste and as always at the Grosvenor Pulford it was wonderful.
As it was a late service and a a winter wedding it was dark very early, we managed to get a few photographs outside but the ground was just too soft to walk on without the ladies sinking in their high-heels! The Grosvenor Pulford has a really amazing selection of areas to do the wedding photos so after the cold drove us from the Oriental Garden we came inside and finished off the wedding photographs near the mirror. Well I say finished off I still had a lovely first dance to photograph.
Thank you Nicola and Dave for employing me to record your big day. It was my pleasure.
